Tenant Soup Kitchen
We're back open for dinner but still soupin' it, servin' it, and spreadin' it. cont. below... If you like hungry people getting free soup, and are here to contribute to the discretionary fund, here's a gizmo for that:
(cont... Tenant cooked and distributed 1,000 gallons during the COVID shutdowns. We decided to get soupy again last month because:
· we remember how to do it and remember the impact in 2020
· amid crisis, 6 courses doesn't seem like the right move
· helping makes us feel less helpless, and food is our medium
· good soup is dope
So we jumped back into quarts for pickup and started serving by-the-bowl, both available as: pay what you can, or nothing is cool too, just please come grab it if you need it.
Then the soup gods smiled upon us, and we partnered up to provide for free delivery, directly to families with immediate limitations on their ability to access food. When it comes to the soup operation, this is our main focus. Half of each batch is reserved, packed & picked up in bulk, and sent along to never-never-land. We shifted our concept a bit to allow for this production, continue making large batches regularly, and serve the other half of each batch at the shop. So come grab a bowl and a cocktail Next Door, or make a reservation for a dinner of four courses in the dining room!

we're back at it, folks... in a new format:
FOUR COURSES - $65 and optional WINE PAIRINGS - $35 · This feels like the right balance of what we've always done and what MPLS wants/needs · It allows us to keep the stove lit and keep on soupin' Tuesday—Saturday Tenant is a non-tipping restaurant - prices include everything but tax.
